About Post

About: A United States roundup for September 23, 2026 covering Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly’s Milan sighting, Channing Tatum’s burner-account denial, Hayden Panettiere’s official cause of death, House battles over Pete Hegseth and Jack Smith, a claimed FBI data theft, and President Trump’s Shield of the Americas pitch at UNGA.

From Milan’s front row to Capitol Hill and a claimed breach of federal systems, Wednesday’s United States conversation mixed unconfirmed romance, a hard official finding, and two political fights that will not wait for the midterms. Allegations below are reported claims unless a court or official finding says otherwise. Country briefings continue at https://fashiontalktoday.com/.

Entertainment coverage centered on Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly. On September 22, Kelly walked Vogue World: Milano in a neon-orange Byblos jumpsuit inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Johnson sat front row in black Valentino. Us Weekly, E! News, and Page Six tied the seating chart to photographs of the pair in New York days earlier and to a source claim that they used Taylor Swift’s empty apartment for a first date. Neither Johnson nor Kelly has confirmed a relationship. Johnson, asked about her status for Vogue’s October cover, said only that she did not want to discuss it.

Separately, Channing Tatum moved to kill a weekend theory that he ran @bidness_nonya, an Instagram page whose only public follower appeared to be Tatum and that left snarky comments about Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles. On September 21 he posted on his official Stories: he called the idea “fuckin hilarious,” asked why he would follow a burner if he meant to hide it, and said his only account is @channingtatum. The disputed page later went dark. Tatum’s denial is his statement; independent proof of who ran the handle has not been published.

A South Carolina official finding closed one question and left another. On September 22 the Greenville County Coroner’s Office ruled Hayden Panettiere’s August 16 death, at age 36, an accident caused by the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam (Xanax), methocarbamol, and quetiapine. She was found in cardiac arrest at Judson Mill Lofts after a 1:51 p.m. 911 call and pronounced dead after unsuccessful resuscitation. Autopsy found no trauma. Greenville police say their investigation remains open. That ruling is an official determination of cause and manner, not a criminal verdict.

In Washington, Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., introduced eight articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The articles allege war in Iran without congressional authorization, continued hostilities past War Powers deadlines, civilian-casualty failures, lethal targeting of suspected drug boats, the Venezuela seizure of Nicolás Maduro, and related Yemen operations. Speaker Mike Johnson called the move a publicity stunt and sent the House home early, pushing any floor fight into the lame-duck window. Hegseth has not been impeached; the charges are Massie’s resolution, not a House vote.

The same week, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan released a staff report arguing that former special counsel Jack Smith’s “Arctic Frost” work obtained phone toll records for at least 17 Republican lawmakers and text-message content tied to as many as 44 members from National Archives holdings. The committee referred Smith for possible prosecution over December 2025 testimony. Smith’s lawyers say he answered the questions asked and deny wrongdoing. No court has adopted the committee’s conclusions.

Cyber coverage turned on a claim, not a confirmed haul. The group ShinyHunters said it breached FBI-related systems via an Oracle PeopleSoft flaw, stole data on agents and applicants, and defaced an FBIJobs page. 404 Media said a sample of names and addresses appeared consistent with public records. On September 23 the FBI said it was investigating a claimed compromise of the FBIJobs.gov portal and alleged impact on employee personal information, while stating the point of breach was still undetermined.

At UNGA in New York, President Trump pressed the Shield of the Americas coalition to treat major cartels and gangs as shared threats and to back sanctions. A joint statement listed 24 groups, including MS-13, Tren de Aragua, and Mexican cartels.

Dating rumors remain unconfirmed. Tatum’s burner story is his denial versus an anonymous page. Panettiere’s cause of death is a coroner’s ruling; the police file is still open. The Hegseth articles and the Smith referral are partisan instruments unless a chamber or prosecutor acts. The FBI theft remains a hacker claim under investigation.
